Obsidian is a monument to black. No color, no line, no narrative... only material. The raw, layered skin of the surface evokes volcanic force, captured in stillness. Volcanic Compound N°1 as a sculptural medium and an industrial finish are elevated here into a contemplative object.
The varnish reveals every shadow of texture, while the clean, restrained frame contains the raw surface without taming it. Catsy's miniature logo on the side functions as a stamp of identity: discreet, yet defiantly present. The personalized message on the reverse completes the work.
